i have NOTHING against cab drivers, really..
but sometimes they do ANNOY me *BIG* time esp when i'm driving and when i'm still a learner lor..!

today's incident was actually quite dangerous.

i was in the left lane (btw, I have the right of way leh ~), but this stup*d cab driver @ the give way lane on my left just simply wanted to SQUEEeeZE right into my lane w/o putting his brakes on for that couple of seconds...
he just couldn't WAIT for his turn; basically he can have all the time in the world for all i care *humph* - it was really a close shave else we would've hit and my instructor was like WTH~!

i know the cabbies are in a hurry to earn more $$ but then again, if an accident had occur just now it would've been rather dumb ~! considering the fact that it CAN be prevented had the cabbie been just a little wee bit patient for his turn ~!
*Super TouchWood* i dun think my instructor will even want to entertain the cabbie if accident had happened just now cos it'll make everyone so BZ 麻烦 for nothing ~!

i hope the driving attitude of these "RUSH RUSH" cabbies can be changed for the better and for the safety of other road users and for themselves ~!

i'm just glad my instructor's around and i'm back to the office in one piece! hahaha..!

anywayz, it's been one funny weather week ~ with bright sunshine one moment and heavy down pour the very next.. oh dear, such "fickle" weather!
many of us are getting sick - usually giddiness, headaches (very terrible ones), sore throats, flu and most of the time the package will include the horrible, sleepless night's cough ~ sigh ~

but that's not gonna stop us - the dream team from our ever so often gathering!
hehe... our upcoming chalet this weekend @ downtown east :)
i hope it doesn't rain *CROSS CROSS fingers & toes*

one of our sweet & pretty colleagues from AR is leaving us today (being her last day) *sigh* though sad but still wishing her (Siao Ning) ALL the very best in her future undertakings :)

i think i'm quite a "dumb dumb" for technology when it comes to taking pictures~!
somehow stumpled upon one of the functions in my phone and gotta change one of the camera settings on my new toy to AUTO Focus, and ~taDA~ now i can take pretty sharp pictures of fine details esp on bling bling items :)

to start off my collection of mahjong "accomplishments" ... haha.. this is one funny incident which i thought (err.. maybe not for Ros...?!), for me to jot it down and have a good laugh next time :D

it was a veri tough fight..
Ros got the WIND "风" liao so her luck was pretty good this night with many MAX "五台" and i was struggling to break even but still cannot *sigh~*
OMG ~
last round of the north 北 wind liao..!
i have to add oil 加油 cos this is my LAST chance of the night being 北/北 ~!

haiz.. open the tiles and i didn't see my 4th flowers - both flowers had "died" falling "captive" by the other players! oh dear ~ how to upgrade but WAIT ~ there's still chance cause i have 9 tiles of "万子" and only 4 other no relation tiles ... OK so this means i still have a chance to win "四台" ~!

luckily managed to capture the chicken "公鸡" and it bite "咬" the centipede "蜈蚣" and that means monie $$$ - so happie ~! in the end, i managed to "暗杠" and still gotta win "万子" - proudly sponsored by Ros cos she "BOOK, 包" me lor :P

aiyah... i think i'm lagging behind my entries on the happenings around me~!

ONE
my recent massage experience in "unnamed" shop @ Harbour Front with Gracie & Mom, has been alittle uncomfortable. though the SPA was beautifully decorated and fully equipped (comes with gym, sauna and a jacuzzi pool with TV) - very RESORT like and all, however my therapist was urm alittle disappointing :-

therapist must have SMOOTH hands to provide a massage and hers was a little rough.
therapist gotta go with the flow .. she's always in a "Rush, rush, rushing for train like that" kinda FAST which is not very enjoyable for me. comparing her service with Clare @ Thomson so i guess i'm still a Clare fan - she's just so much better!

TWO
driving to me, is getting alittle bit more interesting now... hahaha.. 'm nutz i know *bleh*
'm getting a little better these days or maybe for last night ..?! 'm not sure.. jus that some how, i think i've managed to master the parking skills.... LOL - hope my parking standard will remain and be better by the time i'm due to take the test ~ sigh ~

time is running short. will be starting my circuit soon and i'm hyped - hope i'll be able to do well ~!

the weather's been really bad these days.. either that it must've been our immune system. been having terrible headaches for the past few days, sometimes i facing terrible block nose and other times i'll be sneezing non stop ~! and i thought it's just me but then again NOT. it seems like some of my frens oso kena quite BAD..

i've been waiting so patiently for the show..
it was a THRILL to finally be able to watch the Phantom on Sunday :)
however, my seat was not exactly very good ~sigh~
come to think of it, maybe i should watch it again leh but Ros was telling me that i'm nutz.. hahaha... maybe i am *bleh*

it was full house that day.. check out the pictures.. i took it rather secretly! hahaa but then again, with the flash light on, there's not much i can hide.
anyway, i'm not the only CURIOUS soul out there snapping away.

it came as a shock to us all on the numbers of "heads" to be axe today!

ah boss gave us no clue last evening (Thursday) with many, many ??? aka wild guesses over at our ends - only told us NOT to be late on Friday morning and be in office by 9.30am ... however, nothing beats the intense curiousity we had over "what's gonna happen tomorrow - Friday"? Is it gonna be good or REALLY bad?
on the same Thursday night, mr. tay SMS the team on the latest news from the web/email. approx 1400 "heads will roll" worldwide. OMG ~ what a number!

i cannot explain the synergy/ chemistry that we have for this team but it'll be very sad to go one day. our team is down by 3 - CJJ will be leaving us by end May... gosh... it really saddens me to see them leave cos they're fun loving people and most important of all, we're ONE BIG family :*(

our upcoming chalet next weekend's gonna be a VERY memorable one. the people we've come to know, worked with in the past and present will be seeing each other again and i'm glad.

i hope we'll be seeing each other more in the future.
please, do stay in touch everyone ~!

i think i'm really crazy..
mayb i'm too stressed out liao or something..
or maybe 'm just plain NUTZ *bleh*

:: the story ::

i thought i lost one of my gems earrings.
therefore, unhappily (and i was thinkg... wah lao going to waste monie liao~!) hopped into a shop "un-named" to browse for another pair and there it is ~!



it consist of 3 colors; green, purple and blue. not bad cause it'll go very well with the rest of the pendants that i have at home - so i bought it and i'm wearing it right now :P
~ vain hor...?! LOL ~

shortly after, i went over to join the rest of the gals at another "un-named" jewellery shop which i told one of the sales staff to help me transfer a pair of RED "garnet" earrings from their HQ...
NO - I haven't pay for them yet, cause 'm not even sure if they are RED enuff by my standard... hahaha..

anyway, ms. J was already looking at a diamond heart shaped pendant.
i must say that it's really a veri GOOD buy cos it comes with white gold chain, and according to ms. J, this diamond heart shaped pendant piece from "un-named" shop looks similiar to the one that she saw from Tiffany.
as for the price difference between the two? SUPER BIG!!!

while we waited for ms. J, some of the gals were looking at rings.....
wah....

was simply in a dazed by the time i settled for payment, kinda stoned after the whole process and i thought i was going to continue supporting Motorola mobile phones ~! hmmm...

NO.. i'm not selling my preeeeciooous!

maybe will be selling the other "normal plain looking" phones when i run out of spending monie..!

i love movies, esp the funny ones.

they relax me caused they make me laugh and i've been pretty tight these days to the brain almost wanna snapped.
i dunno why.
its dreadful not knowing the cause of it else you'll know what to do next to minimize/ control/ prevent it. like they always say.. preventation is always betta than cure!

so it's off we go for movie(s) day whenever we can..!
luckily there's a couple of interesting ones over the weekend/s and boy, am i glad~!

mr Bean's holiday
m not exactly a Bean fan however, couldn't resist watching it when i saw its trailer... haha.. really funny and i had a good laugh esp when Bean went thru' lotsa trouble chasing after his bus ticket - to being an actor - to trying to clear his name and reunite the little boy with his father :)



wild hogs
sneak preview on fri and we caught it @ GV Great World. funny show talked about family ties and most importantly, relationships among friends!
i'll recommend this one for a good laugh yet there's still morale to the story. catch it!

caught this show really late and i think it's almost gona be over screening if we don't watch this anytime sooner. luckily it was available on sunday night!
pretty exciting considering it on 3D - imagine the time spent making this one, the technology and how real-like it looked!
wow~! this is one of my growing up cartoons and i just love mike-y cos he's just such a funny character!




i can't wait for the below upcoming films... hehe...

another interesting sight while @ East Coast; a wild rooster! imagine that..! hahaha...
i've never seen a wild rooster out in the open before, other than those in the Singapore Zoo BUT this little creature was spotted at a parking lot! what an interesting sight! however i wonder how's that rooster doing now being so near to a construction site... hmmm...
will those foreign workers catch it and err..... shan't say anymore :P

unfortunately not able to share pictures with ya' on the East Coast rooster ~ duhz!

my driving lesson so far has been pretty urm.. interesting and stressful too cause i haven't been driving for so long ~ pengz ~ even forgotten some of the basics! OMG... ! m a self classified DANGER driver! hahaha...!

today i had my 1st try on reverse parking - tip : better to wear contacts for this one ~ maybe becos i was wearing my "sunnies" looking pair hence kena hinder my vision when tryin to reverse while spoting the position of the poles. LOL. guess i need more practise and i haven't started on parallel yet.. DUHZ...

something that i dun get to see very often unless maybe i'm out for nature walks or maybe in Sentosa, insect world? haha.. i took it at a bus stop in AMK while waiting for my bus ride to work sometime last week. though i'm still not sure if its alive or not. such a small little thingy in the city.. will it be stepped on? hmm... i wonder...

managed to contact my driving instructor to book for my long awaited driving lesson :P
was kinda DRAGing myself to do it.. LOL - so my lesson's set and it's back to being a good little girl to complete my training before my big TEST ~ eeeerrwwww ~ m not exactly confident about it leh... haiz~



SHOOTER
quite a good movie (not to mention that it's value for monie cause it was pretty LONG - about 2 hours leh) with pretty fanciful weapons and a rather good plot though the ending's kinda like "James Bond" ~ haha.. nonetheless, enjoyed myself pretty much :)

Singapore has late night shopping (till 12 midnight) on every LAST Friday of the month and coincidentally, we were in Orchard area for dinner.
it was really crowded everywhere, from makan places to shopping areas. Metro Paragon was having SALES in their beauty hall and wow... an amazing sight at just HOW well informed and the patience level of a shopper can be ~ from choosing their products and just by queue-ing when trying to make payment for their purchases (it was a long, long, LONG queue at payment counter).

the sight of the queue's really a TURN OFF for me, decided not to spend any monie~! hahaha... anyway, i got nothing to buy lah ~ so there! no spending on that Friday night except for makan :P

saw this really CHIO, and i mean, REALLY CHIO babe @ Din Tai Feng when we were there for dinner. she looked like a model and by model i mean.. like Maggie Q~! Pengs! i couldn't help catching a few more glimpse of her just to be sure if she's Maggie Q or not.
aiyah~ not Maggie Q lah ** i think~! cos it sure doesn't look like her from certain angles OR else i'll definitely be veri SAD to miss out the chance of asking her to take pictures with me so to paste it into my blog and share it with ya' ~ **

nonetheless, m glad we hang around Paragon that night for there was Jazz performance LIVE that day, see picture below.



wanted to take a longer video to capture more of the performance but there were inconsiderate, insensitive beings walking in front of me (and i was standing right in front of the band ~!) thus blocking my view. haiz.... we're missing moral education here!
