The Satay Lady ~ Moi?!
recent weekend was full of joy and laughter :)
with many familiar faces that day like our dear Hazel, Joesph, Betsy, Edwin and our 21st Birthday gal ~ Joelle! really was very good to see them~!
we started fire ard 6 plus and our team's really good at this ~! very fast got fire (not to mention Han Yu's "Ah Beng" lighter, though i dun think i'll have any pictures of the lighter to show ya~!), and ooh yeah.. we were really FAST, cos our neighbour was still working on their fire but we've already started BBQ-ing ~!
some of the gals helped to work on the salad, also worked on our creation of button mushrooms with bacon, and golden mushrooms 金针菇 with bacon ~ YUMMY ~!
many others helped to bring out the food & drinks, set the table and yes, within minutes, we're ready to begin :)
that's what i call teamwork~! we are still the best :)
strangely enough... many of us came in different colored t-shirts and coincindentally, we've pretty much in counts of 3 for each color~!
3 red
3 blue
3 green
3 white
2 yellow
2 black
and the misty traffic light!
etc others came a little late which by that time we've already started playing mj and, so i didn't take much notice of the color code (t-shirts that they're dressed in) BUT i think it was pink, white, black, red & grey for the late comers :P LOL
anyway we were joking about taking turns n BBQ in our color codes~!
there were tons of food... 1st time i've tried BBQ mango chix and the infamous "ah kee AKA Jay's BBQ ribs 排骨" *hehe* as long as there's a big fire coming up, ah kee's BBQ ribs will be there~! nonetheless, it was still worth the wait cos the timing was just right :)
not to mention our ever food tester --- EDWIN~! hahah whom happily was always so ever ready to try our 1st "masterpiece" .. err.. oh well, it was dinner time lah so no wonder Edwin's all HANDS up to be the tester ~!
surprizingly, i was the satay lady of the night (haha.. got the satay "gong fu 功夫" from Jodan liao mah~!) and was joking about switching to be a professional satay lady next time if i lose my job OR jus simply change job lor :P
ultimately, i enjoyed my time with you guys very much... should we ever part our ways in the future, please do continue to keep in touch and i look forward to our gatherings again some time soon?!
