caught this the 1st time in Singapore and the 2nd time while in Bangkok :)
so loving the songs.. hahaha.... RETRO leh!!!!

hmmm.. abit lame but still funny lah... makes you wonder if the "screw up" from the CIA is for real or what?! it's all a movie ~ LOL

laughter's definitely the best medicine to reduce stress esp after seeing Tom Cruise's funny R&B dance!

brought Mom to Si Chuan Dou Hua @ Park Royal located along Beach Road, with Grace and mr. Lee for her 57th birthday~! chinese ala-carte buffet ... just the way to go~

mom's pressie? ang bao lor :P

only down side = it was buffet style, no way we can eat anymore .. not even the cake :(

on a lighter note, it was a makan bday yet again with Mom, Ros, Gracie and mr. Lee however we didn't take much pictures lah~ no mood to cut cake leh.. hahahaa... so i told them beforehand not to buy me any cake !p

i guess my blog is becoming into a food blog... apologies for not being able to share with you in specific details per day, but this is simply the fastest way for entry... my picture trail of makan shots! LOL

more to share with you..
some of the interesting sights during my 2 weeks stay..
i'm quite LUCKY though, considering pretty far away from the protest sites but all that blood you saw in the news were definitely for REAL~ it was all over Bangkok Post!

anyway, below pictures are much more light hearted lah~

slide "REcycle day": art pieces from all sorts of plastic items, from chairs to buckets, bottles were used to generate ART :) they constructed "wind mill" from these items... unfortunately, i didn't bring along my cam for this trip so i have only my trusty HP for this ~!

slide "boosting staff morale": was at my client's place and while having lunch, a group of the company staff was at the lift area, greeting everyone going for break - they were singing and dancing to their company song ~! that's something i don't get to see here at home!

slide "MRT, token for entry": thought this was cute so i took the pic, plastic token for entry/ exit out of the MRT... hehehe... interesting!!!

over in Bangkok, MRT is known for underground tunnel transport... hahaha.. different from what we have here @ home.. !

YES... i've gotten kinda LAZY (not to mention freaking TIRED lor~!!!) this time round with not many specific photos of my new purchases this time but don't worry lah.. you'll see my new stuff as and when de lah~!

Thank YOU for your kind hospitality, K. Pitaya and team during my stay... it was a pleasure being there and I look forward to seeing you guys again :)

a new joint opened for approx 1.5 years ago, very near to my client's office - Casa Bella, fusion mix of Thai and Italian dishes~

it was a very enjoyable and tasty treat~! i just loved the fish, the salads, steak.... EVERYTHING! however, just to highlight a couple of dishes though...

slide "tofu salad" : really tasty...! slurpz! i believe it's much due to the sweet and sour dressing~

slide "teddy steamed rice" : this is really cute.. too cute to eat~! serious!

slide "stired fried morning glory" : simply oooh sooo.. YUMMY! i just soooo loved it~!

slide "seafood vermicelli" : very similar to our dried mee siam ~ reminds me so much of home!

couldn't be more happy to see my dear friend Ros, and sister Grace during my 2 weeks business trip :) need i say more! i was sooo HAPPY to seeing you both and we had tons of fun shopping and eating over the weekend~

apologies for some "blur" pics... hahaha... and of cos, alot of missing pictures from our shopping spree :P
