wanted to start the day early since we're both on leave ... it's a special day (at least to me! LOL) for my dear Mr. Lee aka Simon, Jun Hui... HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweetie~!!!!!

today.. i'm almost $1ooo richer...
a not so "new" joint near my office selling Vietnamese food; which we decided to try it out. Jess ordered glass noodle with beef soup and i had a prety interesting dish. it's tossed vercimilli with battered fish; served with a light sauce that's alittle sour and sweet :)
with this kinda weather and the office ventilation~!
don't worry~ you still do NOT look your age and MANY MORE happy returns to come!
our 1st "virgin" try; watching GOLD CLASS for the 1st time! hahaha.. yes.. very "sua ku" hor! LOL
while waiting, took a couple of pictures of their waiting area (Vivo City)
inside, a very comfortable Bday Boy... enjoying his popcorn!
we ordered their chix salad (not bad!) and platter with nice dips!
m glad you liked this part of the little surprise i got ya~ hehe...
quite an experience for the both of us, it's like watching movies at the comfort of your own home (except there's service lah~ got people serve you food, drinks etc) BUT of course, with room for improvement for the merchants!
** dear GV: can change your current seats to massage chairs (and NOT increase your prices)?! i'm sure you can have a few more Gold Class theatres = more $$$ and it'll definitely exceed the enjoyment of your customers and you'll have better business and CONFIRM your Gold Class tix to sell better like HOTcakes!

wanted CHEAP beer so we headed to Vivo City @ White Dog Cafe to chill and I'm still like-ing this place!
we ordered 2 types of salads, 1 main and a side dish of french fries to share :)
didn't take any pictures of our beer though..!
i just lurrveee their mashed potatoes! really smooth and tasty!
shopped abit after dinner (too bad we couldn't get any good seats for movie cause we didn't planned in advanced) but it's really SIANZ that the shops here in Singapore close SO EARLY!

the retailers here should think about changing their opening hours cause the "workaholics" of the nation here WORKed very LATE.. by the time we finish work, grab dinner.. there's no way to shop at all since all the shops are already close by then~
without the enjoyment of "boosting" our Singapore economy, we decided to take a little spin to the colorful Geylang.. in search of the FAMOUS soya bean curd store!

our hardworking driver spotted the new signboard!
luckily for us on this "unlucky" Friday 13th...
not only did we managed to find a very good parking spot within minutes in the busy streets of Geylang..
we also managed to enjoy our favorite SOYA snack :)

my 3 year old fridge is finally back into action!
YIPPEEee!
it was spoilt for the past few days (had to throw away quite a number of stuff.. sigh.. very bad hor.. i know.. but.. but.. not my fault mah..! sigh...) and yes, i called for service but it didn't worked out at all~! can you imagine a freezer that couldn't make ice for 3 days even after the 1st servicing ~ !?!!! faintz!
luckily we bought extended warranty else i tell you.. gonna be so FED UP to having to spend money buying a new one!
sure tells you alot.. that good quality product(s) belongs in the past~!?!!
and it's back to stocking up (err.. i'm taking it slowly.. just in case! LOL) stuff in the fridge :) ooooorr.. well, more like... the convenience of "when you wanna cook, you can buy fresh ingredients the night before" lah~!
i made Japanese curry (carrots, potatoes, onions and chicken meat) and sweet dessert; a healthy soup for lungs (snow pear, almond flakes, dried mandarin orange, wolf berries and some other Chinese medical stuff which i have no idea what they're called! LOL)
also made fresh chilli dip... hehe.. learnt this from my 3rd aunt~!

mr. Lee bought the Nokia 6500 slider, which is a very good deal based on the price he paid for though it was not his 1st choice! nonetheless, i had fun "customizing" his new toy !p
Gracie lost her nano sometime back and what better way to "kill 2 birds with 1 stone" by getting herself the latest model from Motorola's very one MP3 player cum phone... E8 ~ very sleek!!!!
