my 1st week ~!

it's been an interesting week, going with my team on their audits to understand and observe what they do and possibly fine tune the process.
the gals are really young but luckily they are willing to learn :)

though i'm no expert yet - cos i'm still not confident in my product knowledge but i believe this company has MUCH potential for growth!

finally i'm back from the caveman era :P
with no computer to use for the past 2 days is like "missing" part of my life!
seriously ~ it's really quite painful!
i missed talking to my friends and it's really a GREAT satisfaction to be online again!
i'm feeling ALIVE ~~ LOL

the missing updates

Day 1
was approx 10mins late for work, it was raining heavily lah~!
not to mention the CROWD during rush hour.. faintz... it had been such a long time since the peak hour SQUEEZE in the train and i'm really appreciating the good ol' times of working in AMK ~! had the gitters aka nerves on my 1st day and confusion on what i should wear to work~!
luckily, everything's good :)
my new colleagues are really young.. most of them are not even 21~!!
it's a majority GIRLS working environment and all quite pretty leh... hehehe :)
to mr ST Ang, if you are reading this: please dun be too envy ok?! LOL

Day 2
joined my gals to their client's meeting for Full Retrieval (FR)- since it's also part of my training plan to better understand what they do @ client's location. it's quite interesting and also a test of one's eyesight leh!!!
unfortunately, wore my new heels today and it almost "killed" me! sigh~!
was so grateful for the gals for wrapping up the last stack of papers :)
we quickly cleared our work and was done by 4.30pm! yippe!
headed back to the office and also to RESCUE my poor feet but i can only do that by spending monie $$$ === yes, i bought another pair of shoes ~ duhz!

Day 3
finally got my laptop and hence, managed to update my blog with some colors :) it's really ALOT better with the usual B&W. found another benefit working for this CO esp it's in town - casual dressing ALLOWED on weekdays if you're not meeting any clients!
wooooHOOoo! not bad!

oh well, it's back to my studying again so i hope i can get up to speed REAL fast to see $$$ grow :P

m home alone cos' my dear gals (sis & mom) are out having fun..!!!!

one went to Thailand and the other went to Batam.
luckily Mom's coming back on Sunday ... then again, she'll only be back in the evenings..
so i'm home alone with my super NOTI dog ~ she's getting real bad these days! haiz ~
and what better way to spend my time before heading out? ----> house keeping of cos!!! LOL

hmm.. i'm missing my office thinkpad already~ blogging on the Mac is so different!
i'm not sure if it's the software or what, but many of the functions (e.g. editing in HTML/ ease of text editing) we see on Windows is not found in Mac.. OMG! i hope my new office will give me a proper, decent, FAST laptop :P

at least i can start updating my blog "colorfully" in future else really can FAINT with B&W ~!

today is the day~!

my last day with the company aka "best engineered PC in the World", i can no longer wake up late/ goto office late and makan lunch early with my favourite people anymore coming this Monday, 10th Sept 2007 ~ sigh ~
i know it's just a change of environment - working location, industry, colleagues, friends but i'm already missing them!!!

till we meet again, my dear team mates & boss :)

it's really kinda weird jotting this down.
me leaving the co in just a matter of days... gosh ~
time sure flies and soon, it's time to say goodbye?!

our farewell (mine) cum birthday (Li Jun's) celebration @ Quality hotel for buffet lunch~! thinking back, we used to have many members in the group - the usual reservations is for 2 tables (usually for 22 pax) but now, the family is getting so much smaller these days... it's reservation for 1 table ~! sigh~

though we have ceased our working relationship, we will still continue to meet up in our upcoming monthly makan/party/KTV/travel/mahjong sessions :)
this i will definitely look forward to...!!!
