initial plans on 25 Nov 2006, was to meet up with Ros for breakfast, this we did.
had macDonald's hotcakes PLUS freshly plucked strawberries from Auzzie --> thanks to Ros's bro's GF (who is studying there and came back to SG for vacation) and they were sweet. Talk about a yummy breakfast :)

went back to my office to pick up some documents after our delicious breakfast, and headed our way to Mustafa (well.. was to drop Ros there and me to Tampines for the job), however, we changed our minds and decided to SHOP in Mustafa (pls, dun ask me why I did it since i'm err.. well known for being err.. ANTI XXXXXXX ~!!! hahaha)

saw this really pretty gold, stainless steel, swiss made watch from Swatch. it has a really pretty floral dial and comparing the price in Mustafa VS the price offered in town, it was really a good buy ~!

it was raining rather heavily while we waited patiently *shopping of cos~!* for the boys (D&C) to pick us up from Mustafa (which was very nice of them to come over to get us since they were in Tampines)


this gave us an opportunity to visit their new office in Joo Chiat.

it's not completely done up yet in terms of decorations but the place is neat and "relaxing". i guess its partly due to the water feature that they installed. pretty cool eh?



due to the nature of their business, look at the boys hard @ work :)

there were a few pretty FUNNY situations HAPPENING during our office visit, which was greatly contributed and in association with ROS which i will not disclose too much *shhhhh*

however, the clues included a red crystal, the "famous" office toilet door *hahaha* and the statement "i'm a walking disaster!" i don't think i'll have an easy time to 4get this day, since it was filled with so much LAUGHER due to ROS's contribution.

soon, it was dinner time~!

we managed to meet up with Wei Sze @ Buckaroo BBQ & Grill near Sembawang beach. it was our 1st time here and we were pretty amazed with the portion size, the selections and the price. Size was huge, easy to share if you're in groups. Taste was pretty good but the Price, a little EX. however if it's to be shared among groups then i guess it's still OK. considering we ordered mussles, whole fish set (comes with salad and white wine), half chicken, pork chop, hot dog and onion rings.

choice of appetitizer - mussles for the boys & ros tried it too however, both ah Sze & moi ain't exactly into this dish :P

check out the yummy chicken. but 'm not able to load the fish set due to "virus", well, that's what i'm seeing from hotmail leh. nvr mind, perhaps there's next time?!



Ultra tender pork chops, which i'm pretty surprized cos if not done properly will taste tough and chewy.

it wasn't exactly ROS's day at all on Sat, 25th Nov 2006 cause she's pretty much being "SUAN" by err... a few people. i seriously do not know what happened man, but the statements/comments coming out of her seems to "trigger" laughter though she meant otherwise! hahahaa.. sorry babe if you're reading this but it's TRUE lah~! *haiz*

anyway, we went back to Deric's place for a quick game of mahjong.

my cards wasn't "cooperative" that night but i was excited to complete "13odds - yao". abit nervous too, cos i'm left with only 3 cards to complete the set while the gang kept on throwing the cards that i don't have!
i still cant believe that i managed to win this set. though i didn't win at the end of the day but luckily, i was still able to win "ping hu" etc after the "SUAI - 13 yao" cards *hengz*

during our game, Ros slept *again* but i guess it can't be helped since she wasn't sleeping veri well for the past few nights, and the boys mentioned about charging her for bed rest. aahaha.. kidding of cos~!

----- Sunday, 26 Nov 2006 -----

Ros came over to return/ lend me the VCDS which 've still not started watching for some *haha*. Simon (being veri nice) came to pick us up for lunch and also to accompany us to Parkway Parade since I still have the job, yet to complete mah.

We went to Toa Payoh for lunch, on the basis to detour to Nissan showroom to look at a potential car *switch* from Sunny to Latio Sport with sunroof~!


it's such an adorable car with sunroof, built in ionizer, spacious with added features such as reclinding & sliding backseats, possibility to add-on GPS function, choice of either Black or Beige color seats, approx 13-15KM/litre and not to mention the ultra nice BLUE color!

We went for a test drive and Simon said the drive was smooth compared to what he's driving now (of cos we have to take his word for it esp both of us gals have no license to drive! hahaha..)

*WOW* Simon (if you're reading this), so many PROS of getting this car hor ~! wahaha.. aiyah, just teasing ya' only. NO need to change car if you don't want/need to, OK?!

next stop: Parkway Parade, went for my job and after which we got distracted to jewellery shopping~! well, i think i should rephrase that to... ROS got distracted to jewellery shopping instead ~!!! I saw a ring that i liked but they don't have it my size *so sad.. or should i say, so lucky? hahaha* and Ros had a pretty fun time picking and trying out her share. We found the sales attendant too "NEW" cos I was faster in spoting what Ros enquire about~!

Pengz, the standard of service these days really SUX big time!!!

we went "car shopping" in the end and there's so many choices. esp with new technology e.g. "keyless system" for Nissan March however w/o GPS. this GPS thingy really motivated Ros even more to get her license. hahaa.. i think i'm much motivated by the made of the car instead esp Latio Sport *hint hint* and Toyota Prius --> hybrid car~!

deciding how to go for dinner was erm... a challenge. i didn't have on hand with me the address of BOTAK Jones in AMK so we were playing "ti-kum" finding the place. it was quite a joke really. only remembered in AMK, blk "6" "3" "0" so i called ah boss then J.LO for the add. however, both parties (being drivers) only know how to go~! wahaha..

luckily for us, we managed to find the place and well, the usual wait was inevitable. it was crowded as usual so i guess that's the kinda "price" we have to pay for good food *sigh*



Ros ordered soup and we were surprised of the contents within.
it was a little spicy / interesting taste for my liking but overall, still not bad :)

their BBQ wings is also one of their popular dishes~!

dinner with my mom last night at northpoint and i realise that one of my cirtus gem is alittle loose hence i went to the store to get it tighten. there was a sale going on~! OMG...!!!! 40% + additional 5% off!!! how could i resist :) wahaha..! no, i'm not going to share with ya what i bought eventually *bleeh bleh*

met up with Simon for "happy feet" movie and i felt that it was a touching movie with a pretty good environmental message to it and that is

the animation was great, veri life like esp the sealions, whale and humans. the baby penguines were really cute! the humour was pretty good :) and the show's 2 hours long~! watch it if you can or when u wanna have a good laugh ~!
by the time we finished our movie and got home, it was already 1plus and i worry about waking up late to meet up with Ros for breakfast.

we have a job to do on Sat *sigh*

it's a pretty wet friday and i'm sleepy *yawnz*

managed to clear my presentation and also got some work done for my cousin aka *backside* since Hui Ling's on leave today to BKK :P yeh we're working in the same office lah!

Today's Thanksgiving day and my ang-moh boss is not around hence the presentation went rather smoothly --> short & sweet PLUS, everyone's on weekend mood ~!

meanwhile, i hope Hui Ling will remember to help me ta-bao back the yummy tasty MK resturant's roast duck!!! i MISS the roast duck and to be honest, i'm not exactly a big fan of duck in the 1st place and that; i have Joe to "thank" for.
he highly recommended me to try it during my trip to BKK in July this year and both grace & me fell in lurve with MK roast duck instantly! *yummy & slurpz*

suppose to meet up with Andrew (the you know who you are - in the previous post person loh~!!!) today for dinner but due to unexpected issues @ home (his dad got hospitalized today... not sure of the details as of now), he "FLY" kite again!

oops! i think he OVER qualified to fly kite already but has just upgraded my me to fly AEROPLANE ~!!!! *LOL*

i'm not angry lah cause it's of valid reason so nah, it's alright and i hope his dad is recovering/ doing better now but he is STILL guilty as charged for the "kite flying sessions" so i'm gonna be a "horrible" friend and disturb him ALL the way!!!!!

hmmz.. OK, not ALL the way but DEFINITELY partial way :P

other plans in mind

1. shopping @ metro paragon; private affair for the ladies with discounts, rebates and free gifts!
2. shopping elsewhere since it's LATE NITE shopping day~!

nonetheless.. m still HAPPIE it's weekend~!!! hahaha...

i bet Ros is having a really nice massage now since she complained about a bad nite's rest and well, no mood to work oso lah~! i recommended her a nice place to try out, pretty near home with good ambience, fairly priced and my favourite therapist, Clare :)

had a quick chat with Jodan on the promotional free gifts that Prudential is offering and of cos that's NOT the main reason that we met up !p but they are definitely offering pretty good protection plans with HIGH coverage and veri little premium :)
i decided to go for it .. haha.. can't be helped mah since so much is happening around the world now *haiz*

grace complained about being "setup" by one of her colleagues as they went for the premier of "Happy Feet" !!! i WANT to watch too!
she said the show was funny and touching... hmmz.. need to plan when to catch this liao. anyway, we suspect the "setup" was just one of their colleague (Vincent)'s plot to know another gal in her office.... guess that's very common eh?! LOL

anyway, m happie to catch last night's repeat telecast of CSI LV on 5.
i still think it's better than any other CSI thur far esp the witty remarks from Grisom :p haha.. jus cracks me up. however, it was screened rather late and i had problem waking up in the morn *sigh*

went to BOTAK Jones for lunch and it was great. we left the office ard 11.30am and the place got pretty crowded by the time we ordered. Jodan was toking about this joint last nite and here I am * oh lucky me.. haha *

the group of us (10pax) ordered pretty different dishes and it ranged from lamb, chicken, beef, fish and pork.



the food looks good right?! very "saucy" hor.... yum yum....

it's fairly cheap, tasted yummy and their spicy fries was pretty good. i had my favourite ---> hot dog!!! but being my 1st time here, i didnt know they gave so MUCH cruchy RAW onions and that's not exactly my cup of tea...




it's definitely an eye opener as we saw other patrons ordering HUGE size for their choice of makan. perhaps next time it'll be a very good idea to try when you wanna share with frens then you'll get another opportunity to order something else!!!

yummy food and good news for us cos ah boss strike 4D and lunch was FREE ** THANKS BOSS **
